Here is a look at the top 10 performances for prep boys and girls athletes over the last week of November and the first weekend of December.

Dylan Engelbright, Wisconsin Rapids: The Raiders senior won the 50-yard freestyle and was part of the first-place 200- and 500-free relay teams to help his team to the boys swimming title in the Chippewa Falls Sprint Invite on Saturday. Rapids also beat Wausau East on Nov. 30 to improve to 2-0 in the Wisconsin Valley Conference.

Eden Gruber. Wausau West: The sophomore forward had two goals and an assist to help the Central Wisconsin Storm to a 6-0 win over Onalaska on Saturday at Greenheck Field House. Gruber has five points on the season for the Storm, who improved to 2-3.

Sarah Mueller, Pacelli: The sophomore forward had 22 points and eight rebounds to help the Cardinals to a 4229 win over Bonduel in a Central Wisconsin Conference crossover game last Tuesday. Mueller is averaging 17.5 points per game for the Cardinals.

Sam Techel, Wausau West: The Warriors junior forward totaled five points in back-to-back wins Thursday and Friday. Techel had three assists as West downed Stevens Point Area Senior High 4-3 in overtime in a Wisconsin Valley Conference boys hockey game, and then had a goal and an assist in a 2-1 win over Waukesha.

Zion Turner, D.C. Everest: The junior point guard scored a team-high 35 points as the Evergreens boys basketball  team rolled to a 66-39 win over Medford in their season opener Friday. Turner had six of the Evergreens seven 3-pointers in the win and had 23 points in the second half of the nonconference game.

Cooper Weinfurter, Auburndale:

The sophomore guard averaged 19.5 points in a pair of wins over the past week. That included a 27-point performance in a win over Athens on Friday in which he hit five of his seven 3-pointer attempts. Auburndale (2-0) host Assumption on Friday in a Marawood Conference boys basketball matchup.

Jennifer Wendler, Owen-Withee: The junior forward averaged 29.5 points in a pair of wins in the past week. That includes a 25-point performance in a win over Spencer in a Cloverbelt Conference- East Division girls basketball game Thursday as she surpassed 1,000 career points. Wendler also had 34 points in a win over Thorp on Nov. 27. Wendler is averaging 24.5 points per game.

Madisyn Rogan, Stevens Point Area Senior High: The junior guard scored 20 points as the Panthers remained undefeated with a 77-68 win over Chippewa Falls in a nonconference girls basketball game Saturday. Rogan had three of the Panthers’ five 3-pointers as SPASH improved to 6-0 with the nonconference win. The Panthers travel to Wausau West on Friday

Ashley Streveler, Colby: The junior guard is averaging 16.5 points per game for the Hornets girls basketball team, which has won three straight games. Streveler scored 21 points in a win over Gilman on Thursday and followed that with a 13-point performance at Stratford on Friday. Colby travels to Greenwood on Tuesday.

Logan Zschernitz, Spencer: The junior went 5-0 on Saturday during the Wausau West Duals wrestling tournament. All five of Zchernitz’s pins in the 285-pound division came in the first period. Spencer posted a 2-3 record in dual meets on the day with wins over Stanley- Boyd and Wausau West.
